OUR VISION

Decentralized IT with maximum security

Decentralized IT architectures for data processing are currently becoming increasingly important, especially when data from a wide variety of workstations or user groups is to be processed and used across locations and companies.

Blockchain was just the beginning. Metaverse, WEB3, edge computing applications or data mesh frameworks also often use this architectural approach and use decentralized IT architectures. The same applies to the data analytics environment, where data pools or data spaces are also often used for collaborative data use, for example in the healthcare sector or in research.

LISA®

Our solution

With its patented middleware solution LISA®, Insitu is developing a new type of software for a simple and cost-effective entry into decentralized, secure "real-time" data processing.

By installing our middleware on PCs, existing central host IT applications can for the first time be used for decentralized, collaborative "real-time" collaboration - similar to a DLT architecture.

BENEFITS OF OUR SOLUTIONS

INDUSTRY SECTORS

Protect data securely and selectively

Our LISA® solution is specifically designed to protect security-critical data. We guarantee

GDPR compatibility for collaboration in decentralized structures and organizational architectures, including collaboration with external user groups. Our product is therefore also of interest to all companies and industries that want or need to process highly sensitive, critical data across companies and organizations:

INNOVATION FROM AUSTRIA

Why INSITU?

Our solution makes it possible to use centrally operating, classic host IT applications for decentralized "real-time" data processing and collaboration. The key factors for this are a cryptographic, role-based access and authorization system as well as quantum-safe data encryption.

We differentiate ourselves with our solution in particular because it allows for fine-grained and therefore selective encryption and decryption of data.

We not only encrypt on a file-based basis, but can also encrypt databases at row and column level, thus enabling maximum flexibility in granting authorization for data usage.

Secure

Our solution is based on data being stored locally on the workstation PC and encrypted and decrypted using quantum computing security

Adaptive

The integration of our software into workplace systems can be done with little effort

Cost-effective

With our solution approach, existing host IT applications do not need to be expensively redeveloped

Innovative

We use a role-based, cryptographic access and authorization system for very fine-grained data processing in the database

INSITU

About us

INSITU is a spin-off of the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences in Lower Austria. After 5 years of research and development work and successful patent applications, the company was founded at the BIZ in St. Pölten in 2022.

This location enables us to be permanently close to the latest expertise and resources in the field of IT and information security and we also benefit from an interesting network of other local technology startups.
